Using Facebook group is an incredible way to grow your traffic. There are tons of Facebook groups aimed towards bloggers, and my sweet bloggy friend Suzi put together this epic guide that analyzes 31 Facebook groups. Use it to make sure that you don’t miss the promo days in your favorite groups!
Melyssa from The Nectar Collective is definitely one of my bloggy super heroes. She writes super detailed tutorial blog posts, and she regularly hosts free webinars on a variety of topics that are packed with super helpful information and practical steps to take your blog to the next level! Also, if you sign up for her mailing list you get access to her content library filled with free resources for bloggers. Some of my favorite posts include 17 things you should do before and after you hit publish on a post and how to create a killer about page.
These videos were some of the first blogging resources that I used when I first started blogging. To be honest, I binge watched them all, and I’m pretty sure that Chris and I didn’t even have a real conversation for a week. I will say that these videos are best geared towards beginner bloggers. They cover the basics, and Kelli and Crystal have some paid products which I haven’t personally tried. So if you’re just starting to blog, be sure to check these videos out! You can get a link to all of their videos here.
EBooks that You Need to Read
Ruth runs the popular blog Living Well Spending Less and in her book How to Blog for Profit Without Selling Your Soul she shares her tips and tricks for running a profitable blog without using yucky sales tactics. Her site is not only earning her a full time income, but she has a complete team making a full time income off the blog as well. You can buy her book here.
Kori runs a successful blog called Kori at Home and she’s my go-to gal for all things SEO. See, as a new blogger SEO really just makes my eyes cross, but Kori is able to break it down step by step. In this eBook she goes in depth using the custom dashboards in Google Analytics to grow your google traffic. I’ll be honest and say I had never even touched the custom dashboards before reading this book. It’s an absolute must if you’re looking to increase your organic traffic! You can buy Kori’s book here.
Lena runs the blog What Mommy Does which, obviously from the title of her book, is getting tons of pageviews every month! In this book she outlines what she did, and what she stopped doing, that helped her increase her pageviews like crazy in a short amount of time. If your main goal right now is to increase your pageviews to get more sponsored posts, then this book is a great fit for you! You can buy Lena’s book here.
I wish this eBook was out when I started blogging. My friend Suzi put together this amazing eBook that gives step by step hand holding to build a successful blog. Even though I have been blogging for a few years, the spreadsheets that she put together have been life-changing. She’s also put together tons of different image templates for different niches, looks, and feels. It’s seriously incredible. You can buy Suzi’s book Blog By Numbers here.
This is a brand new course from my sweet friend Kristen at Practical Mommy is launching, and the beta pricing is only lasting through the end of February. This course, Mom Blog Mentor is perfect if you’re a brand new blogger looking for someone to hold your hand and walk you step by step for getting your blog up and running. To get this kind of help it’s truly an amazing deal. You can purchase Kristen’s course for it’s special beta price here.
This course is run by Ruth from Living Well Spending Less (notice her eBook was shared above!) and it is like that eBook on steroids. With videos from Ruth, worksheets, and super actionable assignments it walks you step by step into implementing her entire process into your blog to get real results. I signed up for this course the last time that the cart was open and even though I’ve only been through roughly a third of the course (because I was in my third trimester and had a baby!) it’s already made huge changes in my blog growth! Ruth has gone through and upgraded the entire course, so it’s an incredible deal when the cart opens February 22nd. Whether you plan to buy the course or not, make sure you sign up for Ruth’s free training by clicking the image below! Also, if you do choose to sign up for the course, contact me to be added to an accountability and support group exclusively for bloggers committed to working through EBA together. You can sign up to be notified when the cart opens (February 22nd) here.
